Safeguarding at Moggerhanger Primary School: Our Unwavering Commitment to Student Safety

Moggerhanger Primary School prioritizes the health, safety, and well-being of its students. All staff, including governors and volunteers, are committed to safeguarding students, and the school actively listens to their concerns. Staff undergo Child Protection training and know the signs of harm or neglect. If concerns arise, they report to the Designated Safeguarding Leads. While the school aims to collaborate with parents and guardians, there might be instances where external agencies are consulted before contacting them. The school’s Child Protection Policy aligns with Central Bedfordshire Safeguarding Children Board (LSCB) guidelines.

The Safeguarding Team includes:

  • Mr. C Macinnes (Designated Safeguarding Lead)
  • Mrs. L Robbins (Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead)
  • Mrs. J Devereux (Deputy Designated Officer)
  • Miss K Hayward (Executive Principal of the Greensand Federation)
  • Mr A Rutter (Head of School of Sandy Secondary School & Prevent SPOC)
