Empowering Well-being: Moggerhanger Primary's Commitment to Holistic Education

At Moggerhanger Primary School, we prioritise a comprehensive curriculum that emphasizes both the mental and physical well-being of our students. Our lessons are meticulously crafted, adhering to the Primary National Curriculum (2014) and the Early Years Foundations Stage guidelines.

Recently, with the government’s commitment of over £450 million towards Physical Education (PE) enhancement, we’ve strategized our funds’ usage. The funding, based on the student census from the previous academic year, will not only benefit our present students but also establish a lasting sporting legacy.

Our Sports Premium is utilized to meet several essential indicators. These include advancing healthy lifestyles, elevating PE’s importance across the school, boosting staff proficiency in PE instruction, introducing a broader spectrum of sports and activities to students, and fostering participation in competitive sports.

Moggerhanger Primary School’s long-standing dedication to sports is evident in our ongoing initiatives. We actively engage with our School Games Team and collaborate with regional schools to promote inter-school competitions. Our PE plans further showcase our budding interest in hosting competitions within our community.
